HardWodder On The Gram 10.13.17

“Humans are creatures of habit. If you quit when things get tough, it gets that much easier to quit the next time. On the other hand, if you force yourself to push through it, the grit begins to grow in you.” – Travis Bradberry.

Insistent. Persistent. Consistent.

Most people use these words interchangeably. However, they are very different.

The first 2 are ingredients in the 3rd.

To insist is to demand… demanding more from yourself is a great place to start. This creates the standards you will seek.

To persist is to overcome… it is to look obstacles in the face and moive through them. It’s being responsible for the activity that produces results.

Those 2 states of being give you the opportunity to be consistent. Everything you want is on the other side of consistent.

You demand a result from yourself, you overcome the reasons and excuses not to move toward that result. You consistently repeat that everyday.

Consistency gives you the win.

Never discount the importance of small steps taken daily.

Choose to move. Choose growth. Choose daily.
